On the village square there is a belfry from 1836, under whose roof there are cannonballs coming from the Battle of Austerlitz. An old mill, which no longer serves its purpose, is located at the river Litava. On the hill above Zbýšov is a memorial to the Battle of the Three Emperors and in the village there is a cross at the mass grave of soldiers from 1805.
Zbýšov is from Brno 15 minutes by car, 10 minutes from Slavkov u Brna, 150 m from the house is a railway station (in Brno in 14 minutes) with connections to Brno after an hour, 100 m from the house is a bus stop cca 20min. Good access to highway and expressway.
